she is also very easily offended and like every doctor over the age of 30, has an unsettling lack of a sense of humor. the inhumanity is striking with these people sometimes.

It's because they deal with death and people dieing every day you have to put up an emotional barrier to deal with it

My mother's been in hospital for nearly 2 months fighting cancer, I thought she'd only be in for a week
It's not fun, hope everything turns out alright for you though and yes the nurses in her ward are amazing :P
