Terrorism in Europe - Delirious Biznasty - 07-19-2016

requesting that this thread be the "terrorist attack happened in europe" thread because it seems like this is a weekly occurrence now

This is a thread to gather general thoughts and news on europe-based terrorism. If you want to discuss the specifics of a particular attack, make a thread, this forum can't go wrong with increased activity.

Also Diehard's post is above mine because moving posts around is weird like that, timestamps and shit.

It's a good thread idea regardless.

RE: Terrorism in Europe - Ben - 07-19-2016

ya but the article of that axe attack states that he was just a crazy person

i mean, you can call all terrorists crazy people but theres an element of organization that that guy lacks

what does it mean to be a violent extremist or a terrorist, then? if i believe sincerely something that puts me in that category AND if a group is willing to "claim" me for political reasons, whats the diff

i dont think that happened in this case but i wanted to contribute a talking point!!!!!

you're right this "person of a different country" had "unclear motives" with "no affiliation" to any group and "is a loner" that caused "violent extremism"

an ISIS affiliated Amaq Agency just released a video of the attacker warning of the attack

RE: Terrorism in Europe - Delirious Biznasty - 07-19-2016

Since I cannot understand anything he says, take it with a grain of salt because I cannot back the validity of this video

that's isis in a nutshell though

in terms of the european attacks

isis is organized only at a local level, with the syrian ocupation etc. the attacks that happen in europe are done by segregated nutjobs who are easily swayed. "isis" here is more the logistics of getting the bombs strapped to a guy, rather than the guy himself

which means that yeah, pretty much everyone can be an islamic terrorist. even the Nice truck driver who had no prior relation to religion apparently, who gives a fuck

they found some isis operatives recruiting in portugal a while back, who were operating outside of a social security thing gathering the immigrant, poor and gullible
