also, as I've stated on the old forum (sayonara, mother fucker) there is always an alpha nurse who the other ones go to when they cannot get blood. this one was a small asian man named...now I'm not 100% on this, but I'm pretty sure he said to call him toto. asian toto, the blood savant. he was used to give my dad a blood gas, and I haven't seen him since. like batman. he used that doppler machine so gracefully I could have confused him with a brain surgeon.
