double bump, busy weekend!
played a SPCA benefit for free on Friday and absolutely slayed the place, best solo show i've ever played. i wish i taped it, my playing & vocals were on point and i got a ton of positive feedback, it was a very great and rewarding show
then last night was an even better gig, but it was with a full band and we took requests all night and the place was so packed and we were kicking so much ass that the bar owner asked us to keep playing for an extra hour, which meant more money so whoo!
i'm trying to parlay this whole cover-song-bar-gigging crap into something full-time, and this was a good weekend to make an impact. bar owners/managers were taking my contact info for regular booking, which is ideal
