so for clarification's sake let's try and draw a timeline
forgetting the north for a minute
1. Arya leaves Bravos for the Riverlands
2. Varys leaves Mereen for Dorne
(months pass)
3. Jaime dines with Frey, leaves
4. Arya kills all the Freys
5. Cersei kills everyone at the Sept
6. Jaime arrives at KL just in time for Cersei's coronation (Cersei wearing the same dress, it was all on the same day)
(weeks pass)
6. Jaime arrives at KL just in time for Cersei's coronation
7. Olenna arrives at Dorne after news from KL, meets Varys
(months pass)
8. Varys arrives at Mereen, Dany leaves with combined forces of Dorne, Tyrell (?), Dothraki, Unsullied and Ironborn
assuming this makes sense, now we have to account for when the North events take place within this timeline. I'm at a loss here, but I'll wager they happen a few weeks before Melissandre leaves Winterfell, because her plot seems to line up nicely with Arya, Scooby and the BWB
what about Oldtown? Sam arrives in Oldtown BEFORE Jon is crowned King, otherwise Oldtown would have a letter from the Winterfell maester clarifying that Jon is no longer Lord Commander, thus rendering Sam's letter useless.
