i finally played botw after like a month of not touching it and i did the elephant dungeon and i finally fell in love with the game

got the kh collection (plus 2.8)

currently accomplished in 1.5:

-all keyblades, shields, staves
-all accessories but one
-all key and misc items
-completed journal
-all secret bosses
-all things synthesized
-all gummi missions and blueprints

level 97 now, gonna max stats soon as well as hit 100. will also push hi scores on gummi missions, grind for more items, and get the prime cap for all accessories

the witness might be the best puzzle game i've ever played, including games like myst, imo. it's so fucking good. it's not perfect obv, there's a few things that are just a little too archaic I think. the explanation-light thing works really well but i can remember a couple instances where i solved a puzzle or two a specific way which was not actually the right way, it just happened to work the way i thought it was meant to be, so i spent hours stuck on the next puzzles in the sequence because i thought they were solved in an incorrect way

pc version is superior in almost every way - there are some bugs here and there that have been getting patched, but i'd take a couple of bugs over the shaky performance of the wii u version

the wii u version is fine enough for a couple of playthroughs though - plus you got the costumes, and then you can even buy bayo 2 if you want!!

this happened to me in the shantytown above the trees where i spent ages trying to solve the last foldout walkway puzzles but then realised i could just... walk across the gap anyway???? i still have no idea if there was an ACTUAL solution to that puzzle or if the whole point of the puzzle was that it was impossible and the game was just messing with you

hit max level, at the stat cap, got prime cap. youre all riveted, i know

beat re: chain of memories now too. got all the enemy cards in sora's story, did everything but level him to 99. doing riku's now

I want to buy a Nintendo Switch but goddamn it's so expensive still. When it's affordable they'll be halfway to releasing the new console anyway so I don't know what to do. It would cost over $800 CAD for the console, a controller and one game. Crazy! Who's paying that??
