Kurds and Syrian Government are now in the process of fighting each other, denying ceasefire talks. This is the first instance of them actually fighting, as compared to small skirmishes.

I don't actually expect people to read this thread, but this interests me a lot.

This war started small, but now has influenced many events in the world for the last three years.

The refugee crisis, brexit, increased terrorist activity, a new caliphate, the upcoming US election, the balance of powers turning the civil war into a proxy war.

This is incredibly important and could have extreme ramifications just by how unstable everything has gotten since it's inception.

The most CONFUSING part of this whole thing happened today. Turkey found a way to ally themselves with Russia AND the US while still being at war with the kurds and making sure assad doesn't stay in power.
