oh wow that's very pretty!! the dia was having hard times because of the recession but it's kept open with tax money now so i can go for free bc my license has a Wayne county address on it. there's some original van goghs and picassos and stuff so it's pretty nice. the Renaissance section is really big and it's just like. wild to see the paintings themselves. it's so weird

yeah we have some amazing shit in ours too, it's also completely free to get in no matter where you're from. honestly, saint louis is thought of as just a flyover city but we have some awesome places to visit. the botanical garden is awesome, our zoo is one of the best, art museum, science center is also rad, the arch is cool. bitches be hatin' but I like it here tbh fam

oh im happy you mentioned zoos! the detroit zoo is actually really well known for its work in rescuing abused animals from circuses and exotic pet owners from all around the country. they also do a really good job of making good habitats, the monkey enclosure is basically just trees with fencing around them. it's really nice detroit is pretty good
