Just upgraded to Windows 10 but I need to know where this setting is so I can fix it. I can't find it for the life of me. So say I'm playing music on itunes and someone calls me on skype. itunes immediately hushes to the point of almost being muted because skype has taken some kind of audio priority. It happens listening to youtube and shit too.

oh shit sorry fellas I forgot I made this/expected it to be deleted
I right clicked my speaker thing in the bottom right, went to playback devices, the communications tab, and there's a feature there that reduces the sound of programs if one takes precedent over the other for some fucking reason. I disabled it.

I don't really like the way the file explorer is laid out, it feels clunky and weird compared to 8.1 but so far I'm not having any performance issues that I can tell. what was laggy out of curiosity?

my videos were choppy and unwatchable, no matter how much I toyed with the settings
same with my sound program, MIDI files were skipping entire chunks of time of having slight latency issues
since back to 7, haven't had any of these problems

I prefer 8.1 to 7 but I'm not upgrading to 10
in my experience, Windows is good every second time (with the 95>98 transition being the exception). so 98 was great but ME sucked, then xp came and that was great but vista sucked; then windos 7 was a great one but 8 sucked, now 8.1 is great and you see where im going with this
