picked team mystic, theres a gym on a cool sculpture of a torus that sits between the math, physics, and space science building that is currently held by team instinct and im determined to put it in the hands of the rightful owners (team blue)

im only level 5 right now, but theres a fuck ton of good places on campus for me and the place where i live (which is also near water)

my office is literally on top of a stop and they refresh way faster than i thought

my highest cp pokemon is a paras at 105 but second best and favorite is a 95 growlithe

i have eggs but none hatched

i haven't had a chance to do much because alaska is a shitty wasteland so i have to be up on campus because there's tons of shit there, i just hit level 5 so now i can take the gym that's 5 feet away from my office at work and keep it forever

battle system is not turn based

you go head to head against a pokemon. you tap to use a small attack, and after "charging" you can hold to do a large attack

you can dodge the other pokemon's attacks by swiping left or right at the right times but its fucking hard so good luck with that. so yeah its like, manual combat

moves have types and theres type effectiveness but no distinction between physical/special or STAB

I'm level 9 rn. walked around DT seattle with 4 other people as a poke squad hitting up stops and nabbing mons. it got very fight club very fast as you can recognize others who are playing it with knowing nods.

Right now I have a 497 pidgot, but my seadra might be my best battle pokemon for how fast it attacks
