boiled cabbage takes a bit of stomach but if you do it mediterranean-style (saltéed with olive oil and garlic) good lord

I've never really done that but you can add cabbage to a billion different things and it'll be better for it. even kids soup!!

it's not about making it better

what you do is boil it to almost-cooked so it doesnt lose its flavour

the later bit of cooking is done with the oil and garlic just like every single mediterranean dish

wanna learn how to cook mediterranean food? olive oil and garlic

tony that hot pot place had cabbage in it and that was boiled

also my family has a red cabbage recipe that's cooked with apple vinegar and you add bacon into it it's fucking great

dude, thinly sliced raw napa cabbage is excellent in the right dishes, namely authentic Mexican tacos

although I personally also like it boiled, I can see where people could get turned off by it.
